Monday -

• Brainstorming careers in the NJROTC Pathway
• Military videos
• Research the 5 branches of the military (Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard)

Tuesday

• Complete Military research slide presentation
• Create Want Ad for a career that falls under the Public Service Endoresement within either the Health Science pathway or the NJROTC pathway

Wednesday

• Complete the Want Ad

Thursday

• PGP in Public Service Endorsement

Friday

• Complete PGP and catch up any assignments that you may not have completed.

Chief Canales (leader of the NJROTC at BHS) and several cadets will be guest speakers in class on Sept. 30 - Wednesday next week.

Mrs. Harrison (leader of HOSA at BHS) and several students will be guest speakers in class on October 1 - Thursday next week.

During the 2nd week of school we will be delving into personality quizzes and interest inventories. It helps to have this information to determine what types of careers are good for you.

Welcome to Career Portals!

 Week one is basically an introduction to this class and getting on the computer to make sure that your login works. Students will log into Google Classroom. This is where MOST of our assignments are done. Google Classroom can be reached from a home internet. This is a great feature in case you are sick but can still work on your assignments.
